Simmering Spark

Sorrow seeped in stolen spark behind those eyes.
Observing as a part within you dies, wilting as petals
Reserving whence it came so naturally, now protected no longer free.
Smile once held vibrant rays of sunshine golden, left lips unmoved cloven.
Since never recovered, a stolen spark
Alone against embracing dark.
Unbeknownst a light still shown, within hearts unknown.
In the depth of darkened abyss, a radiating light.
Reaching deep within illumination creeps
Emulating from the heart, the soul shall see, a deeply embedded spark inside begin to ignite.
